STT director welcomed the youth leaders in Vilnius
On 7th of July Žimantas Pacevičius, the director of Special Investigation Service (STT), met with the “Transparency International” anti-corruption summer school members, who arrived to Vilnius even from 12 world countries to discuss the best anti-corruption and transparency practice.
STT promotion in buses will encourage residents not to give a bribe
Social promotion of Special Investigation Service (STT) has been started in public transportation means in Vilnius on 7th of July, where a responsible behavior shall be encouraged: not to trim with corruption, and in case of facing corruption, to inform STT.
STT representative attended the discussion on the relations of contraband and corruption in Lithuania
On 6th of May the officer of STT Corruption Prevention Board Ryšardas Burda attended the discussion, organized by Lithuanian Department of “Transparency International”, named “The relations of contraband and corruption in Lithuania”. The event took place after the view of movie “The Elite Squad” of the fourth festival, dedication for corruption problem.
STT seeks to expand the number of compulsory inspected persons
On 15th of April the Minister of Transport and Communications Eligijus Masiulis publicly addressed the special services, inviting them to solve the issue of awareness about the reputation of people, admitted to high positions of civil service, together.
