STT began a specialist exchange with the FBI

The Special Investigation Service (STT) and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) finished the first stage of the specialist exchange. In summer, intelligence agents from Lithuania underwent training in the FBI Training Center, Texas, the US, and, in September, a FBI analyst worked in Lithuania for two weeks.

International conference to discuss issues concerning asset recovery

The International Conference on Asset Recovery to Combat Crime - European Trends was held at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as “the Seimas”) on 7 October. The conference funded by the European Union was organized by the Special Investigation Service (hereinafter referred to as “the STT”) along with the Office of the Seimas and the Seimas Anticorruption Commission.

STT set up an extra telephone hotline

The Special Investigation Service (STT) established a new telephone hotline. Persons calling a 24-hour hotline in Vilnius (8 5) 266 3333 will be able to anonymously report possible cases of bribery.
