International Anti-Corruption Conference 2024: call for workshops

The 21^st International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is set to convene in Vilnius, Lithuania, on June 18-21, 2024, under the theme "Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity." The conference will host seven thematic tracks, each addressing critical issues relating to corruption.

The IACC invites all interested parties to submit workshop proposals aligning with these thematic tracks:

1. Defending The Defenders: Our Call, Our Last Frontier
2. Greed and Corruption: A Disease Accelerating the Global Environmental Catastrophe
3. Kleptocrats, Criminals, Traffickers, And Accomplices: It Is Time to Close Their Global Enterprise
4. Defusing The Trigger: Corruption, Global Insecurity and Violent Conflicts
5. Building a Global Ethical Economy: Advancing Business Integrity and Its Leaders
6. The Tech Revolution: Winning a Turbocharged Race
7. Democracy And Human Rights Under Siege: Tackling Corruption's Darkest Side

Workshops by various partners is a cornerstone of each IACC edition and they provide a platform for the global anti-corruption community to collaborate, share insights, and strategize.

Proposal Submission Details:

Deadline: Proposals are welcome until February 15, 2024.

Submission: Proposals are to be submitted online through the provided form.

Each workshop will last 90 minutes and should allow time for questions from the audience. The IACC offers two workshop formats: Interactive Circle or Panel Debate. The IACC is the world's foremost anti-corruption forum, working to tackle the biggest corruption threats in the world today and successfully influencing the global political and economic agenda since 1983. Last year's conference in Washington D.C. was attended by Anthony J. Blinken, US Secretary of State, Maia Sandu, President of Moldova and many other dignitaries, while previous conferences have featured speeches by global leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Hillary Clinton, Kofi Annan, Al Gore, George Soros, Angel Gurria and many others.

IACC is organised every two years in a different country around the world: the latest IACC were held in the USA in 2022, South Korea in 2020, Denmark in 2018, Panama in 2016, Malaysia in 2015, Brazil in 2012.
