STT was paid a visit by delegation of the Latvian Parliament

2014 06 10 Today, the Special Investigation Service received a visit of Members of Parliament of the Republic of Latvia – Mr Aleksejs Loskutovs, head of the delegation, Mr Ivans Klementjevs and Mr Gunars Rusinš, members of Corruption Prevention Subcommittee of the Defence, Internal Affairs and Corruption Prevention Committee and Ms Margita Markevica, advisor to the Subcommittee.

The guests learnt from the STT officials about the Lithuanian way of fighting against corruption and its three main activity areas: criminal prosecution, corruption prevention and anti-corruption education and information.

The delegation is also visiting the Parliamentary Anti-Corruption Commission and Public Procurement Office.
