On 11 February 2016 in Skopje, at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union (EU), representatives of Lithuanian and Beneficiary Country (BC) institutions successfully launched implementation of the EU Twinning light project “Support for efficient prevention and fight against fraud and irregularities of EU funds”. It is already the 5th EU Twinning project implemented by Lithuania in the Beneficiary Country.
Paris Declaration 2015 was signed by the heads and key representatives of the national police oversight bodies and anticorruption authorities of the Member States of the Council of Europe and the European Union at the 15th Annual Professional Conference and General Assembly of the European Partners against Corruption (EPAC/EACN) held in France on 18-20 November 2015.
On the 23d September, four colleagues from the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) led by Janis Roze, Acting Deputy Director, visited the Special Investigation Service (STT).
Christine Uriarte, Senior Legal Adviser of the Anti-Corruption Division of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) appreciated the efforts put by the Special Investigation Service (STT) in the process of Lithuania’s accession to the OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions.
